Mr. & Mrs. Ryan Smith

There’s something magical about fall weddings. Honestly, fall is my busiest and often most stressful season so I thought it would be important for me to slow down and write a blog post about a very dear couple that I have had the privilege of knowing since high school days back at Morristown East High (Class of 2012!).

Mattea and Ryan met while working at Ingles grocery store in Morristown, where we are from, and they have been inseparable ever since! I always remember Mattea and Ryan as the adorably shy and sweet couple back in the day. Mattea was such a great friend during that season of life. I remember going to football games, having sleep overs and doodling in class with her! She lived just down the road from me and her family always treated me like I was part of their family. Mattea and Ryan along with their families are those type of people that have hearts of gold and they haven’t changed a bit!

Their wedding day was soft, cloudy and romantic. The Farm at Bentley Fields was the perfect setting with vintage decor, and old truck and a stunning giant tree where the ceremony was held. Every little detail had such thought and creativity put into it. From the mismatched china table settings, to a twinkly light floral wall! I loved how they had a special table set up in memory of loved ones who had passed on. A special moment was when Mattea had a first look with her stepdad, Danny. It was such a heartfelt and touching moment between the two! Soon, he walked her down the aisle and gave her away by placing her hand into Ryan’s while shedding a tear. The ceremony incorporated hand written vows and a unity knot that they tied together. It wasn’t long before Mr. & Mrs. Smith sealed their marriage with a kiss!

After adventuring around the property for some jaw dropping photos, Mattea and Ryan made their grand entrance into the reception where they were warmly welcomed by their loved ones. After sharing first dances, a delicious barbecue meal was served along with donuts, cookies and red velvet cake! They had a proper bubble send-off since the day was still bright and the sun even peeped through the clouds at the end of the festivities.

Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Smith!
